Junk Removal Cost Estimate
Wondering about junk removal cost before you book? At Haul Guys, we aim to provide transparent and competitive pricing for our junk removal services. In many cases, we can give you a rough estimate “range” over the phone based on the volume of items you need removed. Our charges are volume-driven, meaning you pay for the space your items occupy in our truck or trailer.
However, final pricing may vary depending on the material and location of the debris.
Once we arrive at your property, we will provide you with an exact cost for the service upfront. Below, you’ll find our average pricing ranges:
- Min Load – $125
- (Single Item)
- Mid Load – $350
- (Half trailer load)
- Max load – Up to $595
- (Full 16 Cubic Yard Trailer Load – Level with Top of Trailer)
*Please note that prices may vary based on weight, content, and the location within the Austin area. Tax is not included in the prices listed above.

What Affects Junk Removal Cost?
Several factors influence your final junk removal cost, and understanding them helps you get an accurate quote before we arrive. While pricing is primarily based on volume, factors like difficult access, where items are located on your property, and heavier or more labor-intensive materials can also affect your final price.
- Volume and Weight: More debris means a higher volume tier, and unusually heavy materials like concrete or roofing shingles may affect pricing.
- Item Type: Some items, like mattresses, tires, or electronics, carry a small additional disposal fee due to special handling requirements.
- Access and Labor: Junk that’s hard to reach — stairs, tight spaces, long carries — may require more time and effort to remove.
- Disposal Fees: Certain items require specific drop-off or recycling fees, which we factor into your quote upfront.
For larger commercial projects, our commercial junk removal services use the same transparent, volume-based pricing approach — no hidden fees.
Junk Removal Cost FAQs
Q: Do you charge by the hour or by volume?
Pricing is primarily based on volume — how much space your items take up in our truck or trailer. That said, factors like difficult access, where items are located on your property, or heavier, more labor-intensive materials can also affect your final price.
Q: Will I know the price before you start?
Yes. Once we arrive and see the job, we give you an exact, upfront price before any work begins — no surprises.
Q: Do you offer same-day service?
In many cases, yes. Call before noon for the best chance of same-day junk removal at the price we quote you.
Q: What items can’t you take?
We’re unable to accept hazardous materials such as paint, oils, chemicals, or asbestos. See the section above for proper disposal guidance on these items. If you’re ever unsure whether something is accepted, just give us a call.
